About the Role

Remit Choice Limited is looking for an experienced Laravel Architect to design and develop scalable web applications supporting our digital payment services. The successful candidate will work closely with developers and stakeholders to define technical solutions and maintain high standards of application performance and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable Laravel and PHP application architectures.
• Develop and review technical solutions and application structures.
• Establish coding and development standards.
• Review code and support development teams.
• Optimise application performance and database queries.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services.
• Ensure applications follow security and development best practices.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Laravel and PHP.
• Good knowledge of MySQL and database architecture.
• Experience designing REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with Git and modern development practices.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
