About the Role
The Director of Operations is responsible
for overseeing the ongoing operations and procedures of the organization. As
the second-in-command, the Director of Operations plays a crucial role in
ensuring the efficiency and growth of the business. The primary goal of this
position is to secure the functionality of the company and drive extensive and
sustainable growth.
Roles
and Responsibilities:
The Director of Operations will have the
following responsibilities:
· Plans, directs, controls,
implements, evaluates, monitors, and forecasts budgets and cost of sales in
each division to achieve financial objectives
· Leads coordination and
integration of efforts among operations, engineering, technology, and customer
service divisions to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business
processes.
· Communicates and explains new
directives, policies, or procedures to managers; for major changes, meets with
entire operations staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain
morale.
· Design and implement business
strategies, plans, and procedures to achieve company objectives.
· Set comprehensive goals for
performance and growth, aligning them with the overall corporate strategy.
· Establish policies that promote
company culture and vision, ensuring they are effectively communicated and
followed.
· Manage day-to-day operations
and provide strategic advice to the executive team.
· Oversee the daily operations of
various departments, including HR, Administration, Operations, and Creative.
· Ensure smooth functioning of
all operational aspects and promptly address any issues that arise.
· Lead and inspire employees,
fostering maximum performance and dedication.
· Evaluate performance by
analyzing and interpreting data and metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
· Prepare and submit reports to
the CEO on all matters of importance, providing accurate insights and
recommendations.
· Participate in expansion
activities such as investments, acquisitions, and corporate alliances.
· Manage relationships with
partners and vendors, ensuring strong collaborations and effective
communication.
Required
Skills & Abilities:
· Proven experience as a Director
of Operations or in a relevant role within the Money Services Business Sector.
· In-depth understanding of Money
Services business functions and processes.
· Demonstrable competency in
strategic planning and business development within Money Services Business
Sector.
· Experience in credit facility
arrangement would be an added advantage.
· Working knowledge of data
analysis and performance/operation metrics in the Money Services Business.
· Proven experience in handling
IT-driven Money Services Business.
· Outstanding organizational and
leadership abilities.
· Excellent interpersonal and
public speaking skills.
· Aptitude in decision-making and
problem-solving.

Qualifications
& Experience:
A minimum bachelor’s degree is required.
At least 15 years of progressive experience
in a corporate environment.
